1. Who I am
I am Hassan Hashmi, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom, providing professional DevOps consultancy and technical training services through this website. I am registered for Self Assessment with HM Revenue & Customs.
2. Services
Consultancy. Senior DevOps, SRE and platform engineering consulting, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and reliability engineering. Scope, deliverables, dates and fees are agreed in writing before any payment is taken.
Training. Live, instructor-led technical training in DevOps and cloud engineering, delivered remotely on a scheduled date agreed at booking.
Web development. Occasional website design, build and hosting setup engagements, priced as fixed fees agreed in writing.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and agreed in writing before payment. Payment is taken securely by card via Stripe. Your card statement will show HASSANHASHMI.COM. I do not store your card details.
4. Delivery
Consultancy engagements commence on the agreed start date, normally within 5 business days of payment. Training sessions are delivered on the date agreed at booking. If I need to reschedule, I will offer a new date or a full refund, at your choice.
5. Refunds and cancellations
- Training: cancel up to 7 days before the scheduled session for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days may be rescheduled once free of charge.
- Consultancy: cancel before work commences for a full refund. If work has partially commenced on a pre-paid engagement, unused time is refunded pro-rata.
- My cancellation: if I cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, you receive a full refund.
- Refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.
- Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including (for consumers) rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Disputes and contact
If you have any issue with a service or payment, contact me first at info@hassanhashmi.com and I will respond within 2 business days. I aim to resolve all issues directly and promptly.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
